Photo exhibition “Old Tehran” by Mahmoud Pakzad is held at Momayez gallery of Iranian artists forum.
According to news site of IAF, Mohammad Soleymani said:” Pakzad died 8 years ago and left many photo negatives which were in burnout. So we began to scan and printed those negatives and we find out that there are many valuable and interesting photos among them.
Last year we exhibited some of them in Mirmiran gallery which was much greeted by audiences. Now we exhibited 78 pieces which are in black and white and belong to Tehran in late 30’s. Of course he had a full collection of color photos of Tehran.”
Mahmoud Pakzad was born in 1925 in Tehran. He began photography at 1942 and took many photographs in Tehran, and then he went to Leverkusen to pass some courses. He died at 2002.
